In Calabria we have always loved it: we cook it, we preserve it, we transform it. And from this passion was born Le Creme – Carciofi Dodaro Selection, a delicious artisanal spreadable cream, made only with top-quality ingredients, perfect for bruschetta, savory pies, and obviously to season a dream pasta dish.

 

The recipe: Paccheri with artichoke cream and crispy bacon

Ingredients for 2 people:

  • 180g of paccheri
  • 1 jar of Le Creme – Carciofi Dodaro Selection
  • 80g of diced or thinly sliced ​​bacon
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Grated cheese (optional)
  • Pepper black

Method:

  1. While the water for the pasta is boiling, brown the bacon in a pan with a drizzle of oil until it is nice and crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, lower the heat and add the artichoke cream. Add a ladle of cooking water and mix until you get a creamy sauce.
  3. Drain the paccheri al dente and toss them directly in the pan with the cream.
  4. Add the crispy bacon and a sprinkling of pepper.
  5. Plate elegantly and, if you like, add a touch of grated cheese.

Easy, quick, spectacular. To make and remake, perhaps in company.
